Zoho offers software to SMEs
  • Zoho has partnered with Tamil Nadu Small and Tiny Industries Association (TANSTIA) to offer the association members access to its software at discounted rates to improve their digital literacy.

DRDO develops herbal drug to treat leucoderma
  • Ahead of the International Vitiligo Day, a herbal drug developed by the Defence Research and development organsiation (DRDO) offers a new hope to those suffering from leucoderma, a condition in which white patches develop on the skin.

India, Japan to launch $ 187 m Fund for starts ups during Modi's visit to Osaka
  • India and Japan will launch an ambitious $187-million fund of funds to promote starts ups when Prime minister Narendra Modi meets his Japanese counterpart Shinzo Abe at the G-20 meet in osaka.

RBI's Customer-compliant processing goes digital
  • The Reserve bank of India launched a "Complaint Management System"(CSM), which will enable members to lodge their complaints on its website against any of regulated entities with public interface Such as commercial banks, urban co-operative banks, and non-banking financial companies, among others.

RBI Panel defers reserves report

NHB's revised guidelines will boost housing sector says CRISIL

  • The National Housing Bank's (NHB) new framework for housing finance companies (HFCs) will structurally strengthen the sector and increase investor confidence at a time of Liquidity stress among non-banks, according to credit rating agency CRISIL. The NHB'S revised guidelines make three key amendments- The minimum Tier capital adequacy to be maintained by HFCs has been increased to 10 percent, while the overall Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) requirement has been increased to 15 percent in a graded manner from 12 percent earlier, the maximum leverage that take up h
