OPERATIONALISATION OF IAF-HAL e-PORTAL
- IAF and HAL have operationalised an e-Portal as part of Inter-Organisational Information Sharing System (IOIS) during the Aero India 2021.
- The e-Portal will optimize long-term sustenance planning and reduce repair and overhaul cycle time.
- This will enhance optimization of task and increase efficiency in productivity and availability of spares to IAF.
- The initiative was launched by the Chief of the Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal RKS Bhadauria
NAI ROSHNI SCHEME
- Nai Roshini scheme is implemented to empower and instill confidence in women.
- It is the scheme for Leadership development of Minority Women by providing knowledge, tools and techniques for interacting with Government systems, banks and other institutions at all levels.
- The scheme provides for six days training programme followed by handholding for a period of one year.
- The Scheme is being implemented through Non-Governmental Organisations empanelled under the NaiRoshni Scheme as per scheme guidelines in force in the year 2012.
- So far 402215 women were trained under the Scheme – Leadership Development of Minority Women all over the country.
MCA21 Version 3.0
- The Ministry of Corporate Affairs is set to launch the data analytics driven MCA21 Version 3.0.
- MCA21 V3 Project is technology-driven, aimed to strengthen enforcement, promote Ease of Doing Business, facilitate seamless integration and data exchange among Regulators.
- The project will have Micro-services architecture with high scalability and capabilities for advanced analytics.
- This Version will have additional modules for e-Adjudication, e-Consultation and Compliance Management.
- As part of MCA21 V3, a MCA LAB is being set up, o evaluate the effectiveness of the additional modules and suggest enhancement of on an on-going basis.
- MCA21 system is the first Mission Mode e-Governance project of Government of India launched in March, 2005.
Third Phase of PMKVY
- The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship under Skill India Mission launched the third phase of Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY 3.0) on 15.01.2021
- PMKVY 3.0 is a demand driven programme, with bottom-up planning for identification and mapping of job roles.
- The scheme aimed to train 8.00 lakh people across the country with an outlay of Rs. 948.90 Cr.

India, EU agree to further deepen bilateral trade and investment relationship
- India and EU have agreed to further deepen bilateral trade and investment relationship in the 1st India-EU High Level Dialogue on Trade and Investment.
- Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal and the European Union Executive Vice-President and Trade Commissioner Valdis Dombrovskis co-chaired the 1st India-EU Dialogue held on 5th February.
- They also agreed to meet within the next three months to reach a consensus on a host of bilateral trade and investment cooperation issues such as a bilateral Regulatory Dialogue and an India-EU Multilateral Dialogue.
India and Bahrain partnered for Renewable Energy
- India and Bahrain have agreed to engage in the field of renewable energy.
- The Joint Working Group in the field of Renewable Energy which held its first meeting in virtual format, pointed out the importance of renewable energy to meet climate change goals.
- A Memorandum of Understanding was signed in July 2018 between India and Bahrain for promoting bilateral cooperation in the field of Renewable Energy.

Startup India Seed Fund Scheme
- Startup India Seed Fund Scheme (SISFS) aims to provide financial assistance to startups for proof of concept, prototype development, product trials, market entry and commercialization.
- It has been approved for the period of next four years starting from 2021-22. It will be implemented with effect from 1st April 2021.
- Rs. 945 Crore corpus will be divided over the next 4 years for providing seed funding to eligible startups through eligible incubators across India. The scheme is expected to support about 3600 startups.
Single Window Approval System for Industries
- The Central Government is working on setting up a Single Window System for clearances and approvals of industry in the country.
- The cell is being planned as a One-stop digital platform to obtain all requisite central and state clearances/ approvals required to start business operations in India.
- The Investment Clearance Cell will be a National portal that integrates the existing clearance systems of the various Ministries/ Departments of Govt. of India and of State Governments without disruption to the existing IT portals of Ministries and will have a single, unified application form.
- The creation of a centralized Investment Clearance Cell which would provide end-to-end facilitation support, including pre-investment advisory, information related to land banks and facilitating clearances at Central and State level was proposed and the same is also a Budget Announcement 2020-21.
