PM renamed the Ministry of Shipping and Inaugurates ferry service
- Prime Minister Narendra Modi has renamed the Ministry of Shipping as Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways.
- Also, he inaugurated the Ro-Pax terminal at Hazira, Gujarat and started the ferry service between Hazira and Ghogha.
- The project is of 100-meter-long and 40-meter-wide Ro-Pax terminal, constructed with the cost of approximately Rs 25 crore.

ISRO has launched the PSLV C49 to place the Earth Observation Satellite
- Prime Minister Narendra Modi has congratulated ISRO for successfully launching the PSLV C49 into the space.
- The mission was to place the India’s latest Earth Observatory satellite – EOS-01 along with nine other satellites.

Indo-Russian bilateral youth innovation initiative
- The Atal Innovation Mission (AIM) and Sirius, Russia, has together launched the AIM-Sirius Innovation Programme to develop technological solutions for the two countries.
- It is a 14-day virtual programme for the school students from the two countries will create virtual products and mobile applications to address the global challenges.
- This is a two-week programme, from 7–21 November 2020, 48 students and 16 educators and mentors.
