New Healthcare scheme launched by Agriculture Minister

Union Agriculture Minister launched AAYUSHMAN SAHAKAR scheme to assist cooperatives in healthcare services.
The scheme has been formulated and implemented by National Cooperative Development Council (NCDC).
Under this scheme NCDC will provide ten thousand crores as term loans to prospective cooperatives for the creation of healthcare infrastructure in the country.
The scheme will help to strengthen farmers welfare activities by Central Government and money to meet operational requirements of the healthcare activities.
Under this scheme interest subvention of one percent to women majority cooperatives is given.

NITI Aayog in collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS) has planned to establish the Frontier Technologies Cloud Innovation Centre (CIC).
This CIC is part of the AWS CIC Global Programme which provides an opportunity for government agencies, non-profits and educational institutions, to come together on pressing challenges, apply design thinking, test new ideas, and access the technology expertise of AWS.
The NITI Aayog Frontier Technologies CIC joins a global network of AWS public sector cloud innovation centres across Australia, Bahrain, Canada, France, Germany, South Korea, and United States
It is the first of its kind in India.

The NTPC Dadri has become the cleanest and efficient coal fired power plant in India in compliance with emission norms of Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB).
The Flue gas emissions and Particulate matter are well within the CPCB norms with high efficiency ESP (Electrostatic Precipitators) are monitored online and updated to CPCB in real time basis.
The plant also fires Biomass pellets, made of husk from agro-residue, reducing air pollution due to residue burning in agricultural fields.
NTPC Dadri has set new benchmarks in Water consumption, going beyond compliances, by implementing Zero liquid discharge system, and Rain water harvesting system.

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the Government of India today signed a 177-million-dollar loan to upgrade 450 km of state highways and major district roads in the state of Maharashtra.
The project will improve the road safety and maintenance system and better connectivity between rural and urban areas

The International Financial Services Centres Authority (IFSCA) has launched a regulatory framework called “Innovation Sandbox” in GIFT City, Gujarat.
This framework will aid Financial Technology firms to test their financial solutions in isolation from the live market, based on the market related data.
Under this Sandbox framework, entities operating in the capital market, banking, insurance and financial services space shall be granted certain facilities and flexibilities to experiment with innovative FinTech solutions in a live environment with a limited set of real customers for a limited time frame.
This Sandbox will be managed and facilitated by Market Infrastructure Institutions (MII) operating under IFSC
