Paisalo Digital and Bank of Maharashtra sign co-origination of loan agreement
- Paisalo Digital has signed its co-origination loan agreement with the Bank of Maharashtra.
- This is Company's second Co-origination Agreement with any Bank, before Bank of Maharashtra, the company has already signed a co-origination loan agreement with State Bank of India in April, 2019.
- The co-origination arrangement will entail joint contribution of credit by the Bank and Paisalo, it shall also involve sharing of risks and rewards between Bank and Paisalo.

- Max Bupa, a standalone health insurance player, has announced a bancassurance corporate agency agreement with Indian Bank, a state-owned bank.
- Max Bupa will provide comprehensive health insurance solutions and services to over 40 million customers of Indian Bank spread across 2800 branch network, through a slew of digital touch points.

Ladakhi Shondol dance created history
- Ladakhi Shondol dance has created history yet again by breaking into the Guinness book of world records as the largest Ladakhi dance.
- 408 women artists in traditional dresses performed gracefully the Shondol dance on the occasion of the Annual Naropa Festival.
- The ongoing Buddhist carnival near the 11th-century world-famous Hemis Monastery in Ladakh has ended with creating history as one of the folk dances namely Shondol has broken the previous record of 299 artists dance of Shondol in the 2018 festival.
- Shondol is famous dance, which used to be performed by artists for King of Ladakh on special occasion.
- It was organised by the Live to Love India, Drukpa Charitable Trust and Young Drukpa Association. During the festival, it was not only focused on Zero usage of Plastic but also sensitise the religious and community leaders on plastic waste management and recycling.

Kerala tourism bags three PATA gold awards
- Kerala Tourism bagged three Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) gold awards, including the one for an ethnic food restaurant run by women at Kumarakom under its responsible tourism mission, in Kazakhstan.
- The two other gold awards were for an advertisement campaign of Kerala tourism and for its website. The awards were received by tourism minister Kadakampally Surendran and tourism director P Bala Kiran.

Former cricketer Madhav Apte passes away
- India opener for seven Test matches in the early 1950s Madhav Apte passed away.
- He played 67 first class matches (46 Ranji Trophy for Bombay and three for Bengal) scored 3336 runs, with six centuries and 16 half centuries.
- He was converted into an opening batsman by the legendary Vinoo Mankad.
- Apte was for many years the President of the Cricket Club of India and the Legends Club.
Veteran actor S.K. Padmadevi passes away
- Veteran actor and multi-faceted artiste S.K. Padmadevi, 95, who was part of the first Kannada talkie film that went on sets, passed away in Bengaluru. She was suffering from age-related illness.
- Ms. Padmadevi, hailing from a family of theatre actors in the city, began her career in theatre as a child artiste in 1930s. She played the role of Bhoo Devi in the first Kannada talkie to go on sets Bhakta Dhruva in 1934.

- The tournament in Changzhou was only the second for the triple world champion after she lost in the first round of the Vietnam Open last week.
- Marin faced Tai Tzu Ying final, having lost her last six meetings against the Taiwanese world number four. She took time to get going but rallied to beat the former world number one 14-21 21-17 21-18.
Daniil Medvedev wins St Petersburg Open title
- Daniil Medvedev strolled to a sixth career title as he defeated Borna Coric 6-3, 6-1 in the final of the St Petersburg Open.
- Runner-up to Rafael Nadal in an epic US Open final earlier this month, Medvedev never looked likely to miss out on victory in his fifth successive final.
- The world number four showed supreme consistency across both sets, with Coric unable to claim a single break point.

Divij Sharan bags St. Petersburg Open doubles title
- Indian tennis player Divij Sharan clinched the men's doubles title in the St. Petersburg Open with partner Igor Zelenay on Sunday, defeating Matteo Berrettini and Simone Bolelli 6-3, 3-6, 10-8.
- After winning the first set, Sharan and Zelenay suffered a 3-6 defeat in the second set. Both of them faced a tough competition in the third set as well but made their way to win it 10-8.
World Boxing Championships: Amit Panghal loses final to settle with historic silver
- Amit Panghal put on a valiant effort but lost the intense 52kg final against Uzbekistan’s Shakhobidin Zoirov to settle with a historic silver at the World Boxing Championships.
- Panghal lost 0-5 to reigning Olympic champion Zoirov to win India's first silver medal by a male at the World Boxing Championships.

- Indian wrestler Rahul Aware has won a bronze medal in men's 61 kilogram free-style category at the World Championship in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan.
- It was India’s fifth medal at this edition of the World Championships with a total haul of 1 silver and 4 bronzes. Earlier today, Deepak Punia in men's 86-kilogram category was forced to pull out of the final due to an injury and settled for silver.
