Prime Minister to launch seaplane service connecting Statue of Unity with Sabarmati Riverfront in Ahmedabad

• PM Narendra Modi will launch the seaplane service connecting Statue of Unity in Kevadia with Sabarmati Riverfront in Ahmedabad.
• In addition, he inaugurated a cruise service near the Statue of Unity, which covers six kilometres.
• The prime minister also inaugurated Ekta Mall; an emporium spread over 35,000 square feet.
• PM Narendra Modi also inaugurated a Nutrition Park and a Safari Park, which spread over 375 acre and has 1100 species of birds from India and abroad and about 100 animals.

FIP organises virtual version of Delhi Book Fair this year

• The Federation of Indian Publishers (FIP) has organised a virtual version of 26^th edition of the Delhi Book Fair this year.
• The book fair organised in partnership with PragatiE, a unique platform for hosting events digitally.
• The book fair was inaugurated by, Union Minister for Education Ramesh Pokhriyal 'Nishank'.

AYUSH Ministry and Invest India setup “Strategic Policy & Facilitation Bureau"

• The Ministry of AYUSH and M/s Invest India will form a collaboration to set up a “Strategic Policy & Facilitation Bureau" to facilitate planned and systematic growth of the Ayush sector.
• This Bureau will support the Ministry in strategic and policy-making initiatives that shall help pave the way to reach the full potential of the Sector and stimulate growth and investment.

Railways launches ‘Meri Saheli’ initiatives for safety of women passengers

• The Indian Railways has started Meri Saheli initiatives for the safety of women passengers.
• The Hubballi Division in Karnataka has introduced the Meri Saheli initiative in four pairs of trains initially.
• This initiative is to identify the women passengers confront them and given a helpline number 182 in case of emergency.

IIT-B launches self-help website for students

8th India-Mexico Joint Commission Meeting held virtually

• The 8th India-Mexico Joint Commission Meeting was held through Video-Conferencing.
• The Meeting co-chaired by External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar and his Mexican counterpart Marcelo Ebrard.
• The meeting mainly focussed on strengthening their works towards ‘Privileged Partnership’.
• The two sides agreed that given their respective economic strengths, growing regional and global profile, India and Mexico would further work on strengthening their ‘Privileged Partnership’.
