The Reserve Bank of India has decided to publish the Financial Inclusion Index in the month of July for the previous financial year.
This index will be used to measure the extent of financial inclusion in the country.

World Homeopathy Day is celebrated on April 10.
The day is observed to mark the importance of homoeopathy and its contribution to the world of medicine.
The date is the birth anniversary of Dr Christian Friedrich Samuel Hahnemann, who was a German physician and the founder of homoeopathy.
This year the theme of the day in India is, “Homeopathy- Roadmap for Integrative Medicine”.

Union Minister of Education Shri Ramesh Pokhriyal 'Nishank' presented the AICTE Lilavati Awards 2020 on to the winners in New Delhi.
The award was given under the theme “women empowerment” with six sub themes.
The winners are as follows:
- Legal Awareness - Thiagarajar Polytechnic College, Tamil Nadu.
- Self Defence - St. Joseph’s College of Engineering, Tamil Nadu.
- Sanitation & Hygiene - Smt. Kishoritai Bhoyar College of Pharmacy, Maharashtra.
- Women Health - Walchand Institute of Technology, Maharashtra.
- Women Entrepreneurship - Sona College of Technology, Tamil Nadu.
- Literacy - Bharati Vidyapeeth Institute of Management & Entrepreneurship Development, Pune.

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has paid tribute to the great social reformer, thinker, philosopher and writer Mahatma Jyotiba Phule on his birth anniversary.
He was born on 11 April 1827 in the Satara district of Maharashtra.
He worked in eradication of untouchability and the caste system, educating women and exploited caste people.
