UAE’s Hope Probe sends home first image of Mars

• The National Space Agency of UAE released the first pictures of the Red Planet- Mars sent by the Hope Probe.
• The Hope orbiter was launched on 19^th July 2020 under the Emirates Mars Mission by UAE.
• The probe was designed to gather information about the atmosphere of Mars.
• The probe will orbit around the planet for one Martian year

• The 12th Fazza International Championships — 2021 World Para Athletics Grand Prix was held in Dubai.

• India with 23 medals secured place among the top finishers Thailand with 34 medals and Turkey, Kenya with 23 medals each.

Earliest Known Living Animal Fossil Found in India

• Researchers have identified an earliest known living animal named “Dickinsonia”, in Bhopal.
• The fossils were found in the Bhimbetka Rock Shelters, identified to be 550 million years old.
• The fossils were seen in the “Auditorium cave”, is an UNESCO World Heritage Site.
