RBI Grade B Exam: Eligibility Criteria :
Eligibility criteria include Age limit and Educational Qualification. For RBI Officers (Grade-B) examination, the lower and upper age limits were 21 years and 30 years respectively. Complete Eligibility criteria will be updated once the official notification is released. Certain relaxation is also given based on the certain factor as given below:

Educational Qualification :
A minimum of aggregate 60% marks (50% in case of SC/ST/PWD) or an equivalent grade in Bachelor’s degree as well as in 12th (or Diploma or equivalent) and 10th standard examinations.

- As per the official notification of the RBI, the starting salary of RBI Grade B Salary in hand will be around ₹35,150/-.

RBI Grade B 2021: Application Fees :
Based on the previous year’s exam fee, it is expected to be the same this year as well which is a total of ₹850/- is the application fee to be paid by candidates belonging to the General and OBC category for RBI Grade B 2020 exam while the same amount is reduced to ₹100/- for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD category.

Important Note
Interview (50 marks) :
Candidates are shortlisted for the personal interview round based on an aggregate of marks obtained in Phase-II (Paper-I + Paper-II + Paper-III). Candidates are given the option to opt for interview either in Hindi or English. Final Selection is done through merit list which is prepared by adding marks secured by candidates in Phase-II examination and interview.
Marks obtained by the candidates in the Main examination will be considered for shortlisting for Interview and preparation of final merit list.
Note :
The penalty for Wrong Answers (Applicable to both - Preliminary and Main examination) :
There is a penalty for wrong answers marked in the Online Objective Tests. For each wrong answer, one-fourth of the marks assigned to that question is deducted as penalty to arrive at corrected score. No marks are deducted for un-attempted questions.
Phase – III : IBPS PO Interview :
- The total marks allotted for Interview are 100. The qualifying marks in the interview are 40% (35% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates). The weightage (ratio) of CWE (Main exam) and interview for final merit list will be 80:20 respectively.
