44 = 70% of 1500/30 + 30% of 1500/s

s = 50 km/hr.
Q.9) An amount of 1250 is distributed among P, Q and R. P receives 28% of the amount and Q receives 20% more than that of P. Find the amount received by R.
P + Q + R = 1250

P = 28% of 1250 = (28/100) × 1250 = 350

Q = (100 + 20)% of P = (120/100) × 350 = 420

Therefore, 350 + 420 + R = 1250

So, selling price of mixture = x + (x × 20)/100 = 9
