Mental Health Digital Platform launched
- The Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India Prof. K VijayRaghavan virtually launched the “MANAS” App to promote wellbeing across age groups.
- MANAS which stands for Mental Health and Normalcy Augmentation System was endorsed as a national program by the Prime Minister’s Science, Technology, and Innovation Advisory Council (PM-STIAC).
- The App was jointly executed by NIMHANS Bengaluru, AFMC Pune and C-DAC Bengaluru.
Union Minister inaugurated eSANTA
- Electronic Solution for Augmenting NaCSA farmers' Trade in Aquaculture (e-SANTA) web portal will act as an electronic marketplace that provides a platform to connect aqua farmers and the buyers.
- [National Centre for Sustainable Aquaculture (NaCSA) is an extension arm of Marine Products Export Development Authority (MPEDA), Govt. of India, Ministry of Commerce & Industry.]
- e-SANTA will enable the farmers to get a better price and the exporters to directly purchase quality products from the farmers.
- It will act as an alternative marketing tool between farmers & buyers, within the country and abroad, by eliminating middlemen.
- It provides cashless, contactless and paperless electronic trade platform between farmers and exporters.
Poshan Gyan launched by NITI Aayog
- NITI Aayog, in partnership with the Centre for Social and Behaviour Change, Ashoka University, and Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, launched Poshan Gyan.
- Poshan Gyan is national digital repository on health and nutrition.
- It will help to make nutrition a ‘Jan Andolan’ (People’s Movement).

INDIA’S FOREIGN TRADE: April-March 2020-21
- India’s overall exports for the financial year 2020-21 are estimated a negative growth as 6.6% comparing to the previous financial year.
- The Exports have contracted to -6.6% i.e., USD 493.19Billion.
- Also, overall imports are estimated to be -16.53% i.e., USD 505.94Billion.

Raisina Dialogue-2021
- The 6th Edition of the prestigious Raisina Dialogue, jointly organised by the Ministry of External Affairs and the Observer Research Foundation is to be held virtually from 13-16 April, 2021.
- The theme for the 2021 Edition is "#ViralWorld: Outbreaks, Outliers and Out of Control”.
- The Raisina Dialogue is a multilateral conference held annually in New Delhi, India.
- The conference was first held in the year 2016, became India’s flagship conference on geopolitics and geo-economics.

Jallianwala Bagh Massacre
- Prime Minister paid tributes to the martyrs of Jallaianwala Bagh Massacre on 13th April.
- The Jallianwala Bagh massacre, also known as the Amritsar massacre.
- The massacre took place on 13 April 1919.
- Acting Brigadier-General Reginald Dyer ordered troops of the British Indian Army to fire their rifles into a crowd of unarmed Indian civilians in Jallianwala Bagh, Amritsar, Punjab, killing at least 379 people and injuring over 1,200 other people.
