Union Commerce & Industry Minister launched the DGFT ‘Trade Facilitation’ Mobile App.
The app will promote ease of doing business and provide quick access to information to importers/exporters.

Justice Dhananjaya Y. Chandrachud, Judge, Supreme Court of India, launched the Judgments and Orders Portal, and an e-Filing 3.0 module.
The e-filing 3.0 module, introduced by the e-Committee of the Supreme Court, allows electronic filing of court documents.
The Judgments and Orders Portal aids in searching past judgments and orders.

The mission is aimed to spread the message of the need for a nutritionally balanced diet and to understand the importance of accessible to all local fruits and vegetables.
Vijnana Bharati (Vibha) and Global Indian Scientists’ and Technocrats’ Forum (GIST) have come together to launch the mission with the motto of “Uttam Aahaar Uttam Vichaar” or “Good Diet-Good Cognition”.

Fact:

The United Nations has declared 2021 as the International Year of Fruits and Vegetables.

The India Energy Dashboards Version 2.0 was launched by NITI Aayog on 12^th April, 2021.
India Energy Dashboards (IED) is an endeavour to provide single-window access to the energy data for the country.
Energy data published/provided by Central Electricity Authority, Coal Controller’s Organisation, and Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas is compiled in the Dashboards.
NITI Aayog launched the Version 1.0 in May 2017.

Exercise SHANTIR OGROSENA-2021, a 10 day long multinational military exercise, which started on 04 April 2021, culminated on 12^th April, 2021.
The military exercise was held at Bangabandhu Senanibas (BBS), Bangladesh.
Troops from India, Bangladesh, Bhutan and Sri Lanka participated in the exercise.
USA, UK, Russia, Turkey, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Singapore were the observers in this exercise.

Hydrogen Roundtable titled “Hydrogen Economy- the Indian Dialogue-2021” inauguration was organised on 15^th April virtually by The Energy Forum (TEF) and the Federation of Indian Petroleum Industry (FIPI).
The Hydrogen Roundtable, the first of its kind, will discuss emerging hydrogen ecosystems and exploring opportunities for collaboration, cooperation and coalition.
The objective of the Roundtable is to understand the progress of Hydrogen ecosystem across continents and contribute to creating synchrony among the thinktanks, Governments and the industry to join forces for developing innovative and sustainable technologies at attractive costs.
The roundtable was addressed by delegates of India followed by UAE, Australia, Denmark and US.

The President appointed Shri Sushil Chandra the senior-most Election Commissioner, as the Chief Election Commissioner in the Election Commission of India.
Shri Sushil Chandra will assume the charge of office of the Chief Election Commissioner with effect from the 13th April, 2021.
