The 4th of Indian Navy’s Stealth Scorpene class Submarine of Project 75 has been launched at the Kanhoji Angre Wet Basin of Mazagon Dock Ltd. in Mumbai. The Submarine has been named ‘Vela’ after a previous Submarine.

G7 environment ministers meet to discuss climate crisis
- Ministers from G7 countries (Britain, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan and the US) gathered for two day meeting in Metz, France. Discussion ranged from measures to tackle deforestation, plastic, pollution and the degradation of coral reefs.

SBI Card raises 700 crore as funding for its growth
- SBI Card has acquired Rs 100 crore from ICICI Securities Primary, Rs 250 crore from SBI, Rs 50 crore from Canara Bank and Rs 50 crore from Axis Bank by issuing NCDs at 9.15% coupon. It has raised Rs 250 crore from Axis Bank in the form of NCDs at a Coupon of 9.55%
