7th Meeting of the Joint Trade Committee between India and Myanmar
- The 7th Joint Trade Committee Meeting between India and Myanmar was held through virtual mode yesterday.
- The Meeting was co-chaired by Dr. Than Myint, Union Minister for Ministry of Commerce, Myanmar and Shri Piyush Goyal, Commerce and Industry Minister of India.
- Both countries agreed to express commitment in strengthening their economic partnership by facilitating enhanced sectoral collaborations and trade promotion.

IESC signs MoU with FICCI Ladies Organisation
- The Incubation and Enterprise Support Centre of IIM Shillong has signed a MoU with FICCI Ladies Organisation (FLO) to provide guidance and to mentor start-ups and entrepreneurs to grow.
- The objective of the MoU is to provide a nurturing, instructive and supportive environment for entrepreneurs during the critical stages of starting up a new business, and increasing the chance for a start-up to succeed.
- IESC chairperson Sanjeeb Kakoty and FLO national president Jahnabi Phookan signed the deal for their respective organisations.
- This new pact between two very influential organizations is just the right boost at the right time particularly for women entrepreneurs of the region.

4th Global Conference on Criminal Finances and Cryptocurrencies
- The 4th Global Conference on Criminal Finances and Cryptocurrencies held virtually wherein over 2,000 representatives from 132 countries attended the meet.
- The conference was organised by the Interpol, Europol and the Basel Institute on Governance from November 18 to 19.
- The conference is an initiative of the Working Group on Cryptocurrencies and Money Laundering established in 2016 by the three organisations.
- The objective is to strengthen knowledge, expertise and best practices for investigations into financial crimes and intelligence on virtual assets and cryptocurrencies.
- The conference underlined the need to expand capabilities on ways to probe virtual assets and regulate virtual asset service providers to prevent money laundering.

Netflix's Delhi Crime wins Best Drama series at 48th International Emmy Awards
- The Netflix show, Delhi Crime, has won big at the 48th International Emmy Awards this year.
- It bagged the Best Drama Series award against Germany's Charité 2 Season 2, UK's Criminal UK and Argentina's El Jardín de Bronce (The Bronze Garden) Season 2.
- The series directed by Indian-Canadian director Richie Mehta.
